Gold Striped Sparkle Top

According to net-a-porter, it’s totally ok to have shoulder seams on clothes that don’t actually match up to your shoulders. PHEW. Sewing sleeves is my least favorite part about sewing. If shoulder seams can exist somewhere in the middle of my oh-so-untoned arm, I’m a happy fashionable girl.

I started out with this gold striped xxl top that I acquired from a thrift shop.

I turned it inside out and pinned it to myself. By pinned it to myself, I mean I pinned around myself. I could have said that the first time, or the 2nd time, since I’m typing this in an editable writing program. But I didn’t. You’ll find out why soon.* Check it out! Almost exactly the same picture with pins you can sort of see.

I sewed that shit up and cut off the excess fabric. I have a lot of excess fabric. I need to figure out what to do with the excess fabric. What should I do with the excess fabric.

Check out how cute and voluminous my hair is! Sparkle sparkle sparkle. Sporkle. Hehe.
